I figured since we have other informative topics, maybe one on macros should be made. Macros have many uses and yet some of us (Myself Included...) are not very adept at the entries for them. I thought rather then going on google and trying out all sorts of em, a topic where ppl write there favorite ones should be in place. I ask that you don't simply google then copy and paste, but rather add macros that have been helpful to you and reccomend them to the guild.

This isn't a macro, but it sort of falls into the lines:
/console CameraDistanceMaxFactor 4
^ Doing the above will let you zoom a lot farther than you normally would be able to this can help pick up mobs or just keep you awares of whats going on.

well as a reply to my own post, one thing that i find useful is target name macros. just write %T , for example. On rud when i cast wyvern sting, and my macro goes:
/p now putting to sleep %T
/cast Wyvern Sting (Rank 6)
So say i was targeting a Rabid Hyena, it would say in party chat,
now putting to sleep Rabid Hyena and then put it to sleep.
