 We downed Ionar in HoL! Then got a run at Loken
|

Well, we did something last night that no one had done. We ran HoL and we were able to down Ionar and get a run at Loken (of course we weren't prepared and a bunch of giddy school girls, but we know how to do it.)
The group consisted of:
Kratosi (MT)
Nikkon (Healer)
Loltotem
Noozer
Nubiebubie
First we cleared down by the General, but didn't kill him (important). Went back up and downed Vokhan (as we have done many times). We've attempted Ionar the last couple of times we've run, so we decided to give it a try. Krat had the strategy to try to keep him stunlocked. So, we walked down the halls, I made the ultimate sacrifice and died, Krat ressed and we took a shot at Ionar. The trick is to keep him from dispursing by stunning when he tries. We kept him stunned down to 10% or so, and we thought he dispursed, but he appeared again and came back after Krat, and all but Noozer died.
Noozer apparently used feign death, and Ionar went into the hall where the guys we can't select killed Ionar. We didn't get any loot from him, but we did get a run at Loken.
So, we went back and kited the General back into the room just under where you kill Volkhan, and we downed him there. The doors behind us closed and we ran up, and sure enough the doors to the right of Ionar opened up.
We were very excited (plus it was 3:30am MST) and we only got one try (doors close so you can't get through). But, we actually got to try killing Loken.
Fun times.

Nice, congratz guys. I've made it to the elemental boss on this server before, but he dissapeared before we could kill him... =X
