 READ THIS BEFORE YOU APPLY FOR OFFICER COMMENDATIONS

Here's what I need before I will consider new commissions:
1. More members of legionnaire rank or better. I don't want the ranks to be lopsided. If we get more officers than we have legionnaires, is being an officer special any more? If it is, would it still be rare? Help me spread the word to all new members to register and apply for promotions.
2. Better care taken for the guild bank. Deth has been overseeing this since before we hit the 100 mark (and working his ass off), and I don't want him or anyone to think I haven't been noticing. But, the Gbank needs more blues and less greens. The exception is the Auxilia tab, which I believe should have items fresh members (who register) can withdraw and use. This has nothing to do mechanically regarding stopping commissions, but I still want it done before we start moving more people up.
3. More forum participation. This is tied necessarily with #1, but I don't mean just in this forum. Go to wowlegacy's forum and post in our guild thread http://www.wowlegacy.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=43149. Raise awareness in game, and on the net.
4. More participation in game. We need active players who shine a positive light on the guild. I am going to start purging no-shows very soon. This of course does not mean alts, but If one is accidentally removed, let me know. We currently have between 20 and 30 people who are on at least once a day, and about 50 who are on at least once a week on average. This is a lot, and why I have 7 officers helping me out. But is not enough. We only recently passed <Vault>, we have a long way to go before we catch up to the other big ones. I want to see us as a known and respected guild eventually. This requires not only more players, but more active ones.
5. I need to meet with the current officers and solve some other guild issues, such as taking care of outliers, encouraging guild chat (it gets pretty barren at times), rules regarding behavior within the guild (I'm not your mother, I'm not talking about moral things, I'm talking about things like begging for money and help), and setting up regular guild activities.
You don't have much power directly over any of these, and it may seem daunting at first. All you can do is encourage people. I'm not saying they all have to be solved perfectly before I start looking at commissions again, but I would like to at least lay the groundwork, and see a little built upon it. Regarding the last one, #5, there is simply nothing you can do to speed up that process. If everything else is started and the only thing that is holding you back is us, that would be a fault on our part, and not barring toward your application.

EDIT: This was once Nooz's old application. I have altered it and deleted previous posts to use this as a sticky for what needs to happen in the guild.

Khul your reply is very concise . It has valid points that others should see elsewhere on the forum. Move that message to another area please before we delete this thread from the ex -member.
